About me

Dr. Nannan Xi leads the XREaL (XR Economies Lab), a dynamic research group comprising over 10 Ph.D. students and two postdoctoral fellows. The group investigates game-based and immersive technologies and approaches including gamification, gameful systems, AR/VR/MR, the metaverse, multisensory interfaces, wearables, and streaming technologies and empirically examines their implications in various contexts. Through interdisciplinary research grounded in economics, psychology, and neuroscience, the group brings strong expertise in experimental methods alongside advanced data-driven analytics and complementary methodological approaches to advance responsible consumption, promote sustainable decision-making, foster harmonious organizations, and drive digital business transformation.
